Meet The Doctor

Dr. Dan has lived in South West PA for the majority of his life, attending California Area High School and doing his undergraduate studies at California University of Pennsylvania.  From there he attended the prestigious Life University in Marietta Ga where he attained his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic.  He then went on to acquire over 3 years and 300 hours of post graduate studies in the field of functional neurology through the Carrick Institue and is a board eligible Functional Neurologist.  During that same time frame he also was certified through the American Functional Neurology Institute.

Growing up he was heavily into sports, consequently suffering several injuries which were typically cared for with over the counter medications, ice and rest...until they happened again and the cycle of treatment was repeated.  The most repetitive injury was one to his shoulder which began at age 11 and never seemed to go away.  At the age of 15 he was taken to a Chiropractor as a last effort before consulting with a surgeon.  In that first visit he was told that the reason that pain never went away was because the problem was never really addressed.  He continued on with the recommended schedule of care and within a few short months, the pain was gone.  This was an awakening and the decision was made to become a Chiropractor.

Although thankful for the care he received and the new found knowledge of Chiropractic, the awakening did not stop there.  Upon arrival at Chiropractic school, he began learning the actual reason of a Chiropractic adjustment is to restore the nervous system and that the nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of the body.  EVERYTHING!  Consequently during the next several years he spent mastering several styles of adjusting to be able to conform to everyone from new born's to his oldest patient being 104.  His interests began as a means to help with sports injuries, but throughout school it became more of an overall health and wellness point of view.

Today, although wellness is a huge part of his practice, Dr. Dan likes to focus on the extreme cases where people have been told that they just have to live with the diagnosis they have been given and accept their fate.  The list of conditions he has worked with is seemingly endless but some of the most common include knee pain, shoulder pain, headaches, concussion, ADHD, autism and peripheral neuropathy.

Dr. Dan is the proud father of 5 children that have all been under chiropractic care from day one, they are all completely drug free and they are all vibrant and healthy.
